Cockburn's Special Reserve was originally introduced in 1969 as the first great Reserve Port, creating an entirely new Port category that was fundamental to the success of Port and the Douro over the following decades. This 10 Year Old Port is smooth, well balanced and mature and is ready for drinking now. Dow's 10 Years Old Tawny has a bright tawny colour. He would visit the winery and select the finest 'pipes' (500 Litre barrels) of Grand Tawny. Produced from grapes sourced from Graham's four vineyard estates located in various prime sites in the mountainous Douro Valley. Revealing blackberry and blackcurrant aromas with a trace of liquorice and the signature Graham's mint and eucalyptus. The Six Grapes symbol dates back to the nineteenth century, when Graham's winemakers marked each barrel after harvest with grape symbols to denote quality.
