The Classic Laddie has been crafted from individually selected casks to showcase the classic, floral and elegant Bruichladdich house style. Unpeated, it is the signature bottling and the definitive Bruichladdich. Made from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled, then matured for its entire life by the shores of Lochindaal in premium American oak, it is a testament to the quality of Bruichladdich's ingredients.

Caol Ila is hidden in a quiet cove near Port Askaig. Many consider this locality to be the wildest and most picturesque of the island.

Clynelish is an anglicised version of the Gaelic for green pasture. And, though it's a coastal whisky, this is fitting for a Scotch with sweet floral fragrances and verdant flavour notes. It's a name with a long history, one that predates the current distillery, which has adorned the labels of whisky bottles for two hundred years. Sutherland distilleries have always been few and far between. But whisky drinkers have always championed Clynelish over many more famous brands and praise its unique combination of Highland and maritime qualities. Clynelish whisky is closer to an Island style than other mainland malts, with a complex and fragrant nose and an agreeable long finish that leaves a lingering fresh-fruity flavour. This 14YO is a less heavyweight whisky that's deliciously drinkable and makes a great aperitif.

Ballindalloch, on the banks of the legendary salmon river, is for many the home of the definitive Cragganmore Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Hugely complex, rich with layers of flavour and a whiff of smoke in the finish. Aromatic and floral on the nose, with a hint of smoked almonds.

A great malt which Jim Murray awarded 95 points in his Whisky Bible, this is excellent value for money. The flavours are simple, but flawless, a clean, crisp 15 year old from the Dalwhinnie distillery, also part of Diageo's Classic Malts range.

A perfect introduction to Fettercairn - After years of maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, this 12YO is the colour of sunlight and amber honey. On the nose notes of vanilla and pear, with soft spices. The palate reveals refreshing nectarine and tropical fruit flavours, finishing with sultanas, roasted coffee and black toffee.

A great beginner's whisky right here from the Glen Grant Distillery, produced in tall pot stills. This 10 year old Speyside single malt, having spent a decade in bourbon casks, boasts oodles of light, malty notes. A top dram for warmer weather.
